A lot of people don’t hold a lot of sway in wedding favors. However, I think it’s a great way for the wedding couples to thank their guests for being a part of their special day. Different cultures have given a form of wedding favor for centuries. In fact, the almond sachets, which many guests receive to this day, are the oldest known wedding favor.
Winter time brings a unique opportunity to give really special favors based on the time of year. A wedding in December offers the opportunity for some cool ideas.
An ornament with the wedding date printed in glitter is a great way to thank the guests for attending. Wrap it up like a present in box to make it stand out prettily on the wedding tables.
An all white candy assortment is another idea that fits in the theme. White candy coated almonds in a white sachet with a silver ribbon also fits with a December wedding.
For a January wedding, the perfect wedding favor is a mini bottle of champagne. Be sure to include some non-alcoholic brands for the children and young adults.
Late January and February offers the opportunity of a Valentine’s theme and couples can give small candy hearts and even little heart cookie cutters.
